South Coast Caravan and Motorhome Show - Romsey

01/04/2016

A very warm welcome and thank you to everyone taking the time to read through this blog.  Before I tell you about the Romsey Show next weekend, I believe an introduction is in order...

My name is Michael and I started working at Winchester Caravans at the beginning of March, and what a month it has been! If you have been down to our shop recently we may have already met, as this is where I have spent the majority of my time. My role over the next few months and beyond, however, will have more of a marketing focus, including contributing to this very blog (and newsletter that may receive if you have kindly given us your email address at some point!) I hope you enjoy them, and if you have any questions, comments or feedback, you can get directly in touch with me at marketing@winchestercaravans.com. Alternatively, there is now a comments section at the bottom.

As you are all very aware, the start of Spring marks the beginning of the caravan season and we are all reminded once again that there is something very special about going away with loved ones in a caravan. We here at Winchester Caravans are always looking for ways to show off our passion for everything caravans, and following our success at the NEC show in Birmingham last month, we are very excited to announce that we will be at the South Coast Caravan and Motorhome Show at Broadlands Park, Romsey from the 8th - 10th April.

It is said that there's a first time for everything, and this is no exception! As well as taking a wide variety of both new and pre-owned caravans, we will also have a great selection of accessories and furniture, including a whole range of brand new stock from stylish, practical kitchenware to the latest lightweight camping furniture.

With new caravans coming out of the factory every month, this may be the first chance you will have had to see the new Bailey Pegasus Palermo, Lunar Lexon 580 or Lunar Delta RI (shown below in that order). So close to the New Forest National Park, there are few better places to come and view these outstanding family caravans.

We are also delighted to let you know that, as part of our continued co-operation with Naomi House and Jacksplace, we are holding a surprise competition, all proceeds of which will be donated to this very worthwhile cause; we can, however, reveal that there will be lots of balloons. Their nursing, care, play and family support teams deliver the crucial emotional, spiritual and developmental aspects of care for families across the South of England when a child or young person is diagnosed with a life-limiting condition.

If you would like to sponsor our dedicated team entering in the Clarendon Way Walk, please visit our sponsorship page. You can also donate in the shop if you have any loose change (cheques are also accepted for larger amounts) or feel free to drop off postage stamps, printer cartridges, foreign currency or any items for their shop (good quality clothing, bric-a-brac, books, for example).

This may be our first South Coast Caravan and Motorhome Show as Winchester Caravans but you can be sure to be met by all the familiar faces from our fantastic team. The show's official website can provide you with all the information you might need, including how to get there.

We look forward to seeing you there.
