We’re pleased to announce that we are reopening our showroom, accessory shop and workshop to the general public on Monday, in line with government guidelines.
We will still be taking every precaution to ensure the continuing safety of our valued customers and staff, with many measures remaining in place for the foreseeable future. Our prominent floor markings illustrate the 2m spacing so that customers can identify and retain their personal space at all times on our premises.
If you arrive on-site at a busy time, there is signage to demonstrate where and how you should queue to maintain the 2m spacing. A hand sanitising station has been installed in the foyer and we urge all customers to ensure they use it upon entering the premises.
The sales desks will be fully cleaned and sanitised after each customer and all of our caravans and motorhomes will be sanitised regularly, both internally as well as all handles and doors etc. If you would rather not enter the buildings on-site, we are happy to arrange a ‘’contactless’’ visit for you, so just let us know.
Although you are welcome to pop in at your leisure, if you’d rather secure your own dedicated time slot, please get in touch to book an appointment with us. We’re open Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm.
We have completely rearranged our shop during this latest lockdown period to make it even more accessible and well-laid out for customers’ ease of use. The till area has divider screens to protect both the staff and customers whilst making their purchase. We will continue to encourage card payments - particularly contactless - and will maintain the higher £45 limit to make this possible on more occasions.
We’ve been busily re-evaluating our product ranges and restocking our shelves to ensure we are offering you the best caravan, camping and motorhome accessories on the market. Pop in for a browse to see what we’ve got - everything from homeware and camping furniture to TVs and BBQs.
Contact-free servicing and repairs
We’ve been keeping in touch with all customers who were due for services during the lockdown period and offered a contact-free door to door collection and drop off service to ensure servicing could be carried out even though customers were unable to enter the premises. Now that we’re open again, the previous safety procedures will once again be in place for dropping off and collecting your caravan/motorhome and we will explain these fully over the phone when we call to schedule / confirm your appointment. All members of staff will wear both gloves and face masks whilst in customers' caravans to ensure full cleanliness.
Collecting your caravan
When it comes to sales handovers of vehicles from ourselves to the customer, we will give each and every caravan/motorhome a full valet, which will include full sanitisation of all surfaces, lockers, doors and handles. We will contact you by phone prior to the scheduled handover date to discuss the procedure. We encourage the use of bank transfer or payment over the phone to keep physical contact to a minimum.
The preferred option for collection would be via instructional videos, sent beforehand in an email link and possibly followed up with a video call as well. We are also happy to arrange delivery if required, again with instructional videos sent beforehand. Alternatively, customers will be given the option to collect without a handover and return later for a full working demonstration.
Limited stock levels for 2021
The pandemic has severely affected caravan and motorhome production levels due to the complete shutdown last spring/summer and the restrictions that must now be met to ensure social distancing in the factories. This has meant that fewer staff are able to work at any one time, resulting in fewer vehicles being manufactured for the 2021 season. With this in mind, if you are hoping to secure a new caravan or motorhome this year, you should do so quickly as stock levels are low and vehicles are likely to be in high demand again this year with travel abroad impossible or difficult.

We’re not the only ones reopening our doors, the entire caravanning industry is doing so as well, with sites all over the country set to open this week. The most desirable sites are getting booked up fast, so be sure to secure your pitches for the spring/summer 2021 season soon to avoid disappointment! Most sites have a good cancellation policy so that if restrictions are reimposed and sites have to close, you will be entitled to a full refund or to transfer your booking to a later date of your choosing.
