We’re hosting a Model Preview Weekend on 29-31 October to showcase some of the new models from the 2022 Swift and Bailey caravan ranges which are available to order now!

Drop into our showroom on Main Road, Colden Common anytime from 10am on Friday 29 October until closing on Sunday 31 October (4pm) to take a closer look. We will have a range of models on display from both the Swift and Bailey collections, and you’ll be able to take a good look inside and compare the different options.

Swift SpriteWhat’s new from Bailey?

Bailey launched their 2022 models in July with the introduction of the new Unicorn range, which is packed with new features such as a vertical front infinity window,  Chiswick soft furnishings, Dometic 10-series 153 litre electronic fridge freezer (model specific), wider fixed double beds with full width soft touch headboards and a Belfast-style washroom hand basin.

The new range boasts 7 models; the two-berth Seville and 6 four-berth options - the Madrid, Cadiz, Vigo, Cabrera, Cartagena and Pamplona. They all benefit from the Alde radiator central heating system, Truma 80-watt solar panel for off-grid holidays, stylish interiors featuring light oak furniture and a Tracker Monitor system with integral intruder alarm.

The front lounges of each of the models convert into a double bed for sleeping. As the only two-berth model, the Seville has a mid kitchen and end washroom. The Madrid has a mid diner that converts into bunk beds with the kitchen opposite and an end washroom. The Cadiz has two fixed singles further back in the van with the kitchen separating the two sleeping areas and the washroom at the rear.

The Vigo and Cartagena both have fixed transverse island beds towards the back, with the kitchen between the two sleeping areas and the washroom at the back. The Cabrera and Pamplona have similar layouts too - fixed transverse island beds at the very rear of the van, with the kitchen next to the front lounge and a mid washroom in between the kitchen and rear bedroom.

Other models in the Bailey collection include the Alicanto Grande, Pegasus Grande SE, Phoenix+ and Discovery. The Alicanto and the Pegasus are both 8ft-wide, the Alicanto offering four 4-berth options and the Pegasus boasting seven 4, 5 and 6-berth models.

The Phoenix range consists of 6 models, comprising 2, 4 and 5-berth options while the Discovery is a compact crossover vehicle which comes in the D4-2, D4-3 and D4-4 versions, with the end number indicating the number of berths.

What does Swift have to offer for 2022?

Swift have also launched a new range for 2022 - Conqueror - as well as given the Elegance large-scale specification changes. In addition to this, the Challenger and Sprite ranges have also undergone some minor changes for the new season.

The Conqueror range is modern and sleek in design and has a hi-spec and premium quality feel. It’s impressive features include high gloss lockers, atmospheric lighting, panoramic front sunroof and modern washroom boasting plenty of storage. There are four models in the Conqueror range, all of which feature Alde heating, Swift Command and Swift Command Tracker, plus an onboard fresh water tank for added convenience.

The 480 is a two-berth with the lounge at the front which converts into a double bed, mid kitchen and rear washroom. The 560 is a four-berth and has the same front lounge, with a mid kitchen, mid washroom and an Island bed at the rear.

The 565 is a four-berth with a front lounge that converts into a double, a mid kitchen, two single beds beyond the kitchen and an end washroom. The 580 is also a four-berth and has the same front lounge, a mid kitchen, a transverse bed beyond the kitchen and a rear washroom.

The Elegance range has been enhanced for 2022 and offers three 8ft-wide models, all four-berth and each offering very different layout options. The Elegance is all about luxury and premium quality, from the glamorous new Brisa ULTRALEATHER upholstery scheme to the spa-like washroom and full height padded headboards. Other key features include an on-board fresh water tank, a dimmable LED lighting system and new underfloor heating.

All three models have front lounges that convert to doubles. The 835 has a mid kitchen leading through to the washroom, with a transverse bed at the rear. The 845 had a mid kitchen, leading onto a transverse double bed and a rear washroom. The 850 had a mid kitchen leading onto a mid washroom and an island bed to the rear.

The Challenger has five models accommodating 2-4 people and the Challenger X - the 8ft-wide range - offers four four-berth models, including the newly launched 860 model. The Challenger X models are ideal for families with spacious interiors, bigger beds and additional storage.

The Sprite and Sprite Super - also 8ft-wide - offer great value for money whilst not compromising on quality. They offer a range of layouts to choose from - Sprites 7 models cater for 2-6 people, while Sprite Super’s three models consist of one four-berth and two six-berths options.

As stock is limited for 2022, it’s advisable to be well-prepared before attending the Preview Weekend. If you come with an idea of your ideal budget, the models you are interested in and your list of must-have features, it will make the decision process a lot easier and may enable you to secure your new caravan with more confidence.
