The recent Motorhome and Caravan Show at Birmingham NEC saw the launch of Bailey’s first ever panel van conversion, the Bailey Endeavour! As you’d expect, it’s compact in design but big on performance, providing everything you need for your adventures on the road.

If you like the idea of owning and driving a motorhome, but feel apprehensive about the size and the handling experience, then the Endeavour could be the solution you’re looking for. At 5.98m long, it’s around a metre shorter than the average motorhome making it much easier to handle, manoeuvre and of course, park!

Its size gives it a much more compact feel and drive, and to get this you’re not compromising on any of the best bits! It still has a fully equipped kitchen and ample washroom meaning you’re completely self-contained, which is not something that all panel van conversions offer.

The Endeavour’s base is a Ford Transit van, which offers high performance with its 2.0 litre 155 bhp engine with 6-speed automatic transmission for a seamless drive. The Chrome Blue finish means it looks the part too!

Endeavour highlights

  • Fully equipped kitchen with Thetford 90 litre refrigerator, a 3-ring gas hob, a combination oven and grill and a drop down kitchen worktop extension.

  • Cleverly designed washroom, featuring a space-saving revolving tambour partition screen, a Thetford cassette toilet and an Ecocamel onboard shower.

  • Four-season all-weather sustainability with Truma Diesel Combi D4E blown air heating and hot water system.

  • Fully specified cab with 12” touchscreen infotainment system, air conditioning and cruise control all as standard.

  • Flexible Truma 100-watt solar panel for off-grid holidays.

  • Thule 3.5m wind-out awning to enhance enjoyment of the great outdoors.

  • Thoughtfully designed for adaptable and stylish campervan living wherever and however long you choose to travel!

Tried and tested!

The Endeavour was tested in the cold climate-controlled chamber, going up against temperatures of -15°C, but it more than proved that it is up to the challenge! It was plunged into sub freezing temperatures but was able to maintain +20°C inside the van throughout, demonstrating its excellent capabilities and resilience. This gives even more peace of mind that the Endeavour really is an all-season leisure vehicle, ready for anything.

Easy on the eye

As well as being practical and more than fit for purpose, the Endeavour looks great too! The living area benefits from light oak furniture with a modern grey and blue theme running through. ‘Apollo’ soft furnishings are supplied and the fixtures and fittings are of premium quality and offer a chrome finish. The oak and grey theme continues in the kitchen with light oak kitchen cabinets and a warm grey marble laminate kitchen worktop.
